From Hong Kong to London
I was first captivated by the charm of vintage jewelry during a visit to New York. Since then, I have built a collection spanning everything from classic Trifari pieces to the exquisite designs of Miriam Haskell, from Victorian jet to the bold, playful spirit of the 1980s.
One of the most defining experiences in my journey was working with Kai Yin Lo, a renowned Hong Kong jewelry designer. There, I was responsible for creating one-of-a-kind pieces for Bergdorf Goodman. It was during this time that I truly came to appreciate the art of upcycling vintage jewelry—reimagining the beauty of the past into something newly captivating.
Evelyn Artwear was established at the Seibu Department Store in Hong Kong, with a boutique later opening in Central. Until 2021, it offered jewelry that was both refined and accessible.
Blending vintage with contemporary, East with West, and elegance with modernity, I transform forgotten treasures into distinctive, one-of-a-kind creations. To me, nothing defines chic more than upcycled jewelry with a story.
Since relocating to London in 2021—a city that is both dynamic and sophisticated—I have been inspired to create even more whimsical and expressive pieces for others to enjoy.
