Absolutely gorgeous vintage Butler & Wilson Blackamoor brooch. This iconic costume jewelry piece features a large, oval faux opal  that mimics the flashing colors of natural fire opal.  The gold-plated metal frame is heavily encrusted with multicolored rhinestones, with two long, dangling faux pearls hang from the bottom of the gown. A perfect example of 80s madness!
