Charming antique gold metal mesh purse, constructed from fine, interlocking metal links, with a gold-tone  metal frame with a  blue stone kiss-lock closure and a delicate chain handle. The bottom edge of the mesh has a distinctive scalloped, fringe-like design.
This style of bag became an iconic accessory for "flappers" and well-dressed women in the 1920s. The design reflects the glamour and sophistication associated with the Art Deco period.
